EGL 315 - World Literature of the Sea

EGL 315 is a survey of non-U.S. plays, poems and fiction which are thematically categorized by their maritime focus. The objective of this course is to explore, analyze, and interrogate the way “the sea” has been represented by international writers in a variety of cultural texts, with particular attention paid to the European and Caribbean traditions.
