Business Administration Minor


A minor in business provides students with a broad understanding of key business concepts and helps students develop problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. The minor can also equip students with practical skills that are highly valued by employers, such as analyzing financial statements, managing inventories, assessing risk, etc.

 

In addition to the general requirements for earning a minor at Cal Poly, Solano campus, and to receive a transcript notation of having completed the specific requirements for a minor in Business Administration, the student will have completed a minimum of 15* units from the following curriculum:

*A minimum of 6 units in the minor must be different from any course counted in the major.

** Course substitutions to the above requirements are to be considered by the minor advisor and department chair only upon written request from the student and documentation of comparable experience.

+ A minor must include a minimum of 6 (six) units of upper-division (300-level or above) courses.
